Embers of Experience: the value of quick-decision making

Bjorn Smars is a Senior Instructor in the University of Oregon’s English Department. During summers, he also works as a Forest Officer for the Oregon Department of Forestry. Through discussing his academic and wildland firefighting experience, Bjorn provided insight into the behind-the-scenes of firefighting and how important it is to learn from your experiences and the people around you.
